The LEAF Collection is a gentle homage to nature’s rhythms — inspired by the abstract geometry of burdock leaves, where veins soften into texture and shifting light. Rather than depicting a leaf directly, each piece suggests foliage through subtle relief – a quiet impression of movement, shadow, and touch held within clay.
Finished in beige crystalline glaze, the surface moves gracefully between matte and glossy, catching light on every curve. Where the glaze gathers, it turns softly glossy with an ash-like sheen. Where it thins, it reveals warm rustic browns and earthy mineral depth. Never uniform — always alive.
Wheel-thrown by Laima in her rural Latvian studio, each piece rests naturally in the palms. Expect variations in tone, texture, and quiet irregularities in form — the hallmark of handmade work.
High-fired the stoneware becomes dense, vitrified, and non-porous — built for everyday use while retaining its earthy, tactile presence. The glazes are lead- and cadmium-free.
Care: dishwasher safe.
