Laima Ceramics Stone collection jug Dorothy.
Affectionately named Dorothy, each pitcher carries an organic pebble-like silhouette with a small, gentle pouring spout — a form that feels as though it could be found in nature. The exterior is left in natural vitrified stoneware — grounding, matte, and stone-like to the touch. Inside, a warm beige crystalline glaze moves between rustic warmth and soft gloss, creating a surface that varies subtly from piece to piece and feels quietly alive.
Wheel-thrown in rural Latvian studio. Slight variations in size, gentle asymmetry, quiet shifts in tone, and organic rim movement are celebrated traces of human hands.
Designed to move effortlessly between beauty and function, these jugs can be used for milk, tea, sauces, dressings, or simply as sculptural accents resting calmly on the table.
High-fired to 1260°C, the stoneware becomes dense, vitrified, and non-porous — built for everyday use while retaining its earthy, tactile presence. The glazes are lead- and cadmium-free.
Care: dishwasher safe. Microwave safe.
