Description
Birch syrup is made of 100% birch sap. We boil it in a wooden oven until water evaporates and sugars caramelize. In taste, it reminds a bit of Italian balsamico but it’s more complex and flavorful and we make it of pure and local Latvian traditional wild food – birch sap.
100ml of syrup = 18l of birch sap
No added sugar
How to use?
Use it as Italians use balsamico – for salads, serving bread with oil, for a glaze when cooking meat – or let an experiment lead your way.
