What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that are sent to the end device of the website visitor (eg computer, mobile phone) by the visited websites. Cookies are stored in the file directory of the internet browser (eg Internet Explorer, Firefox) on the hard drive of the website visitor’s terminal. The next time a website visitor visits the same website, the internet browser reads the cookie and passes the information back to the website or element that originally set the cookie. Cookies do not pose any threat to the computer of the website visitor.
What cookies do we use?
In order to improve the functionality of websites and facilitate the use of websites, the following types of cookies are used on websites:
- Session cookies: These are temporary cookies that are stored only as long as the website visitor does not close the internet browser after accessing the website. Session cookies help the website to remember what the visitor has chosen on the previous page, so that he does not have to re-enter the information.
- Persistent cookies: These cookies are stored in the terminal device of the website visitor in the form of a randomly generated number after visiting our website. They identify the website visitor as a unique user and, when the visitor returns to the website, help remember information about the visitor and the actions that the website visitor has previously taken. The storage time of the cookie on the website visitor’s device will depend on the type of cookie.
- Tracking cookies: We use these cookies for website structure viewing statistics.
